Today, Phish have uploaded a live performance of "Down With Disease" from their September 6, 2015 concert at Dick's Sporting Goods Park outside of Denver, Colorado. Watch it above.
The song appears on Phish's 1994 studio album, Hoist. This nearly 18-minute version begins with Mike's funky bassline before leading into the tune's familiar progression. Trey charges with an energy-fueled guitar solo, and the band keep the rhythm flowing. They bring the song down a bit, then gradually elevate the tempo to soaring heights. It's a great version that has the audience dancing their cares away.
Relive some Phish highlights by checking out previously shared 2015 tour performances of "Blaze On," "Tweezer > Prince Caspian," "Scents and Subtle Sounds," "Seven Below," "Tweezer," "Kill Devil Falls," "Simple," "Twist > Light," "Bathtub Gin," and "Kill Devil Falls" here on Zumic.
