Yesterday, legendary vocal performer Mariah Carey released "Infinity," the only newly recorded single featured on her upcoming compilation album. The album will be titled #1 to Infinity and is set to be released on May 18, 2015.
In "Infinity," Carey is belittling a former lover as the realization of moving on sets in. The video opens and closes with a purple background accompanied by butterflies and flashes of Mariah's face. The images throughout the video capture the literal meanings in the lyrics. Carey throws a few disses, such as, "Boy you actin' so corny like Fritos," with the image of a plate of Frito's chips. The symbols of a book and a door closing represent leaving the relationship behind. Is Mariah trying to give Nick Cannon the message that he will not always be her baby?
#1 to Infinity, Mariah's third compilation album, is scheduled to be released on May 18, 2015. Order it on Amazon.
