In a very cool move, Band Of Horses honored late singer/songwriter Jason Molina on Jimmy Kimmel two nights ago by covering his song "I've Been Riding With The Ghost", complete with female backing vocals. The great tune was originally on Magnolia Electric Co., Molina’s final album under the Songs: Ohia moniker and Band Of Horses provide a pretty flawless version here.
Another nice touch is Benjamin Bidwell's Magnolia Electric Co. shirt he rocks in the video. The very prolific and talented Jason Molina died too soon on March 16th at 39 years old of organ failure.
