"MellowHigh" - MellowHigh [MySpace Album Stream]

Odd Future's three biggest weed enthusiasts (Hodgy Beats, Left Brain and Domo Genesis) record together under the name MellowHigh, a play on Hodgy and Left Brain's previous collaborative project MellowHype. The trio's self-titled debut is now available for streaming courtesy of MySpace.

Generally speaking, the album is slow-paced, irreverent and chock full of marijuana references. MellowHigh further assemble a dream team of weed-rap aficionados when Curren$y and Smoke DZA show up to assist on "High Life," a characteristically woozy outing on this laid-back album.

The exception to MellowHigh's almost constantly sedated mood is "Roofless," in which either Hodgy, Left Brain or Domo does an uncanny Mystikal impression while the BPM briefly spikes. It could actually be Mystikal, as Frank Ocean's unmistakable vocals appear uncredited a few songs later on "Cigarillo," leading us to believe that the album's full guest list is yet to be unveiled.
