Coldplay have released a new music video for the poppy ballad "True Love" from their album Ghost Stories. The video, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, tells the unlikely love story between two aspiring ballet dancers. The two ballerinas, one played by Chris Martin and the other by Jessica Lucas, are at disadvantage because of their body types, which closely resemble sumo suits. After being criticized and judged for their appearances, the pair find their happily-ever-after by becoming stars in a new ballet and falling in love with one another.
The music video closes with the phrase "Anything Is Possible," leaving viewers optimistic and hopeful. The storyline may be a little cheesy, but it's good to see Chris Martin hasn't become a cynic after his breakup with Gwenyth Paltrow.
