Coheed and Cambria have shared a superhero-themed music video for "Island," a track from their 2015 album, The Color Before The Sun. Watch it below, via YouTube, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at making the video.

In an interview with People, frontman Claudio Sanchez talked about how his wife and their relationship inspired the music video:
When I think of these two iconic characters, I think of opposite attraction. I think of myself and my wife. How two opposite ends of a spectrum can create harmony and balance. In one way or another, these characters have been paired up with like-minded love interests, the Bat and the Cat ... The Alien and the Amazonian ... I wanted to bring the Dark and the Light together.
The entertaining clip takes us into the daily life of a Batman costumed character as he goes about his day amusing people in Times Square, New York. SPOILER ALERT: The clip takes a turn when the two go at it (and we really mean go at it). If you've ever noticed unintentional homo-erotic vibes from a movie, it's pretty funny to see them when they're 100% intentional.
It's worth noting that this music video has no official connection with the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will be released in movie theaters around the world later this month... Ben Affleck definitely has a tough act to follow.
