Sunday was the final day of this year’s Governors Ball. Below is a recap of our favorite performances.

Frank Turner LIVE AT GOVERNORS BALL 6.8.2014

We started the day with a folk-punk set by Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls. Though Turner mostly played material from his latest album, Tape Deck Heart, he still managed to work in “Photosynthesis” from 2008's Love Ire & Song. You can read an entire recap of Turner's show here on Zumic.

Tyler, The Creator & Odd Future LIVE AT GOVERNORS BALL 6.8.2014

Tyler, The Creator got crazy with fellow Odd Future members Earl Sweatshirt, Taco, and Jasper Dolphin. The OFWGKTA ringleader blazed through crowd favorites such as “Yonkers,” “Tron Cat,” and “Ifhy.” A full writeup of that show can also be read right here on Zumic.

The bloody beetroots LIVE AT GOVERNORS BALL 6.8.2014

The Bloody Beetroots tore it up in the afternoon. Their set contained electro house music, but was enhanced by a live drummer, giving the band a rock edge. They took the stage wearing masks resembling Venom, one of Spiderman's villains, and got the crowd going nuts.

James Blake LIVE AT GOVERNORS BALL 6.8.2014

Later in the evening, James Blake played an impressive set. He started things quietly with "I Never Learnt To Share." Unfortunately, his music was so soft that music played from other stages clashed with it. Despite this minor setback, Blake still got the audience moving by playing the fantastic "CMYK."

Interpol LIVE AT GOVERNORS BALL 6.8.2014

Interpol performed a fantastic show, opening with the upbeat "Say Hello To Angels" from their debut album, Turn On The Bright Lights. They played new tracks "My Desire" and "Anywhere" from their upcoming album titled El Pintor, as well as fan favorites such as "NYC," "Evil" and "Obstacle 1."

Vampire Weekend LIVE AT GOVERNORS BALL 6.8.2014

Vampire Weekend closed out the festival on the main stage, getting the crowd dancing to beloved tracks, including "A-Punk," "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" and "Diane Young." There was a lot of dancing on Randall's Island that night, especially by bassist Chris Baio. Read our full writeup of the set right here on Zumic.
